Star Wars in a Notebook

Dafür liebe ich die moderne Technologie, das Internet und den ganzen anderen Kram, der dazugehört: wer eine gute Idee hat, kann diese mit ein wenig Zeit und  Geschick umsetzen, und früher oder später landet das Resultat auf meinem Monitor, um mir den Tag zu versüssen.

Oscar Fabian Triana Mendez hatte eine dieser tollen Ideen und zum Glück auch das notwendige Talent: Star Wars Episode IV als animierter Kurzfilm, der — mit ausgeschnittenen Pappfiguren als Helden — in einem Notizblock spielt. Wunderschön.

An animated tribute to the film that started the whole saga!
Playing with the idea of “how you remember the movie, back then” and using things in common when you were in school like notebooks, cut-out figures, cotton and the alike. The short recreates in three minutes the original movie, using some random and sometimes witty ideas/comments from me and other kids that have seen it in the last few years. It’s like a crazy summary by a kid who sees the movie for the first time.
